  1. How do I register my nickname?

Registering your nickname is as easy as /NickServ register <password> <email> Your password must be at least 5 characters long, and a valid email must be entered for obvious reasons. For more help on NickServ type /NickServ help

  2. How do I register my channel?

OK. First of all, you need to register your nickname. Once this is done join the channel you wish to register, and providing you have ops in that channel you type /ChanServ register #<channel> <password> <description>

  3. Another user has taken my nickname, but it is registered to me. How do I regain it?

To recover your nickname from the 'thief' you simply type /NickServ recover <password>

  4. I forgot to identify to NickServ, now my nick was forcibly changed. What do I do?

To regain your nickname after it was forcible changed due to not identifying, or recovering it from somebody else, you need to type /NickServ release <nickname> < password>

  5. How do I add someone to my registered channel's access list?

We've got some simple commands for that:
/ChanServ sop #<channel> add <nick> gives that user superop access, he can modify all other lists (aop, hop and vop) and is automaticly opped and protected (mode +a).
/ChanServ aop #<channel> add <nick> gives that user autoop, he can modify the vop list.
/ChanServ hop #<channel> add <nick> gives that user autohalfop, he can modify the vop list.
/ChanServ vop #<channel> add <nick> gives that user autovoice.

  6. How do I find out who is the founder of a channel?

By typing /ChanServ info #<channel> you are asking ChanServ to give you information on who the founder is, what the channel URL is, and when it was registered.

  7. How do I send somebody a memo?

To send somebody, with a registered nickname, a memo, then you type /MemoServ send <nickname> <message>

  8. I want to see if I have any memos, how do I do this?

To list all your memos simply type /MemoServ list

  9. Ways to send commands to services.

We prefer you to use /NickServ, /ChanServ or /MemoServ instead of /msg NickServ, /msg ChanServ or /msg MemoServ, this way you are sure your message gets to the correct service and that no services imitator can get your password if services should be down. All of our services and servers are configured correctly to make sure these commands work and you don't have to use /msg <service>

  10. Identifying to ChanServ or NickServ.

To identify to NickServ or ChanServ for your nickname or channel there is also another command available,
    /identify <password> identify's your nicname to NickServ.
/identify #<channel> <password> identify's you to ChanServ as the founder of your channel.

If you require any further help with irc2.net services, then try typing the following:
    /ChanServ help
    /NickServ help
    /MemoServ help
    /msg hostserv sethost

If this still doesnt help you, then dont hesitate to ask in #opers, or #irchelp where lots of IRCops chat.
