4. Invasion delinked. (14:55, Aug 22, 2002)
Allthough there where no problems with the invasion server or it's staff it has been delinked due to ISP issuess. The new ISP owners don't allow it to run anymore. Maybee it will be back later from another ISP.
Use the irc.irc2.net pool or any other server to connect to irc2.

We pleased to announce that Invasion.irc2.net has been approved for permanent link by our full oper-staff and will remain linked.
Also a new testlinked server Pp.irc2.net (Pixiepower.irc2.net) adminned by Xtermin8 and hosted on a powerfull Freebsd box.

We welcome a new server to IRC2, Invasion.irc2.net, and it's admin Amedee. The server allready has a usercount of 20 after a few hours. The server is located in Rotterdam, NL. Supports ssl on port 6697 and listens on all common irc2 ports. It,s linked to Oxygen or SdS trough ssl and these servers also have ssl links to eachother, guaranteeing Secure user traffic over the entire network.
I also want to point out again that Defender-r is no user server. This server is for Linking of testservers and services only.

1. Reprofiling Poll results (21:03, May 14, 2002)
Seems like most of you guys want us to reprofile towards Gamers.
I do not see that much gamers on IRC2.net, most people I see around (those that are actually alive) are coders/guru's/geeks. (Or just guys that can't get a girlfriend ;D)
If anyone has an idea as for "_how_" we should reprofile towards gamers, please let me know (bart@it-ss.be), and i'll put it up for discussion :o)
My idea seems clear: Long Live the Geeks! ;o)

-- Something else: I deleted the links to my company. Xtermin8 added them here probably because I invested somewhat in IRC2; but i don't think any association of irc2 and my company should be on this site - it's not as if i own the place :] (Strujeker does .. :D)
